Uluru - anyone been there recently?

As part of my husband and sons Christmas gift I have purchased them return flights to Uluru.

I'm currently investigating accomodation and tours or looking into hiring a car for them to do things themselves

All suggestions appreciated, they are only going to be there 2 nights because of work.

We were there just before azaria got taken and a dingo came into our tent,
Took the steaks and bacon from the esky and left.

At the dinner??    Ya get wet, I guess.

The rock looks spectacular in the rain - but it was dry and hot when I was there

Will you adopt me?                    Now I wanna go back.

That package looks brilliant for a short stay.

I haven't been for 10 years, but would gladly go again and again

Donna

Looks a good tour. I see it says you can climb it if you want. Worth doing if you are fit enough.

No mention of food, meals etc. what is the go with them ?

You dont need fancy accommodation, you sleep well because you are knackered.

Suggest they take as much drink as they can and snacks. Stuff is very expensive there.

I was lucky, we saw it in the rain as well. It is superb.
