Bright, because Trump lied about the spread of COVID-19 and they're not testing enough to know.
Prove me wrong

How are the US handling school attendance? In Australia many schools are apparently preparing to go eLearning and deliver the curriculum remotely.

Some of our schools already have "insane" restrictions in place - cancelling assemblies, choirs band and sport practise etc. Staggering break times.

A few of the schools have run out of hand sanitizer. Unsure when more available.

The teachers that I'm in contact with (throughout Aust) are reporting about 80% attendance - so down a bit. I know of a few very remote schools where it is business as usual with a Mt Isa primary school principal claiming 93% attendance rates. School is 80% Indigenous and it operates a free bus service which collects students from their homes and all the kids are provided breakfast, morning tea and lunch. The principal says these initiatives are keeping his kids in school- ie these have been in place for 7 or 8 years, built up from 36% attendance to now a 93% average!

And since the kids have been in school and learning the entire school is now above national average on NAPLAN testing.

Tom Calma is relaying similar reports about his FNQ schools.

True martin.  .  I can't prove anything  there is so much info and mis information flyng aroound and regulations changing quickly.

Pretty obvious tho that numbers publicized  of those  affected in all countries are  much less than the actual.
