What's for Dinner?

I'm hungry but I don't know what to make.

What are you all having?

You'll have to dip the apricots in melted chocolate for the 100's and 1000's to stick ๐Ÿ˜„

I was going to have eggs on toast for tea, but I think they've gone bad

Re: What's for Dinner?

Pimpy, you know you can test if the eggs have gone bad by placing them in a large glass of water? If they sink, they're fine, if they float, throw them out.

We had roast pork today with veges ...

TOMORROW I'm planning on a great big enormous gigantic salad. YUMMO.

Re: What's for Dinner?

I'm feeling too tired to bother with much, so it's a ham, cheese and salad wrap for me.......maybe a corona, too but I don't have a lime so it won't be the same.

I've made savoury mince. Well a cottage pie. It's in the oven now and is perfect Friday night fork food.
Smells gooood.

Re: What's for Dinner?

4T ... how did you make it?

I brown the mince with onions, maybe tomatoes, and/or mushrooms and flavourings like Worcestershire sauce and garlic, while I cook the potatoes. Then I put the mince in a casserole dish, mash the potatoes with butter, and put them on top, and then put the dish in the oven until the top is browned.

Left over take away from lunch, high in calories, high in fat, but hey ......  oh and followed by apple pie and vanilla ice cream, more fat, more calories lol

Sounds or sounded (!) delicious. Smiley Tongue

Tonight:

For entree, I had parmesan-crusted sole

For main, I had BBQ ribs - (so good...)

And for dessert I had Creme Brulee.

Good thing I had vegies for lunch and went for a jog today...I'm knackered! ๐Ÿ™‚
