Since there is now a boat of Tamil asylum seekers off the coast of Christmas Island, what will Scott Morrison do?
A] Tow them back to India?
B] Pretend that they don't exist?
or
C] Behave in a humane manner and offer these people shelter?

India does accept refugees (unlike Australia). They apparently set sail from India.

Well, boats are being towed back to Indonesia so why not India?
I do believe that India does accept refugees and has done so for years - the Dali Lama for example.

But only if there's less than a 50% chance. 49% ? No worries, send 'em back, good night's sleep for morrison.

Let’s look at the facts, inconvenient as they may be.
If the current reports are accurate, then this boats' point of departure was India
The Tamil’s are an ethnic group with major population centres in eastern and southern India, Shri Lanka, Malaysia and as far down as Singapore.
If memory serves there is no current conflicts in any of these countries. Therefore from what actual, as distinct to imagined, manufactured or perceived imminent danger are they fleeing from.
No, if you stand back and look at the facts objectively this has all the hallmarks of people leaving a place they no longer want to live, to seek a better life elsewhere. That is they are economic immigrants not asylum seekers.

OOPS again.
The West Australian is reporting a second boat has been intercepted by Australian Customs vessel Triton near Christmas Island.
Opposition immigration spokesman Richard Marles said he had heard the second boat, carrying 50 asylum seekers, had departed from Java.

If you look at objectively, Tamils are a MINORITY people who have been greatly displaced particularly over the last few decades.
There are still tens of thousands of SriLankan Tamils living in Indian refugees camps. Some of these people have lived in tents since the 1980's. They have no no home and the Indian government is STILL CONSIDERING whether they should be processed for Indian citizenship. They are effectively stateless.

"objectively"...pffft
That word comes in handy to excuse the vilest behaviour, human decency flies out the window - if morrison ever had any there is none left now...I received an email the other day from a friend abroad who tells me that there are some groups talking of starting a campaign against tourists coming to Australia to protest our treatment of asylum seekers...I thought this would have happened some time ago -
'This Land Belongs to the Army’ is a strong documentary about the manner in which the lands in the traditional Tamil homelands of the North-East of the island of Sri Lanka have been appropriated by the government and the military.
Made by Indian journalist and filmmaker Maga Tamizh Prabhagaran, the documentary features first-hand testimony from victims and an exclusive discussion with a Sri Lankan Army soldier about the use of chemical and other bombs to support the logic that the land belongs to the Army and that the Tamils can “live in [the] country” only provided they do not “demand undue things”, to use the words of former military commander Lt. Gen. Sarath Fonseka,.
