Well I have just been shopping and all the Colgate toothpaste that I looked at comes from Thailand.
It would be great if others posted examples of products and where they come from as I am sure there are plenty of surprises out there.
I know I have plenty more to add

This toothpaste could have bits from anywhere. We worry about fruit and veg etc, but we do not worry about other products which we put into and on our bodies. I suppose we have to trust and hope for the best.

What about juice sold in Australia by Aust companies? They imioort frozen fruit concentrate , then add Australian water - voila - label can say Made in Australia without even mentioning the imported concentrate.
Who are you going to blame that on? The Chinese? The Kiwi's?
the only ones that can be blamed for this is the consumer for always trying to save 10 cents or $1.00
everyone right now has the choice to buy Australian produce
yes it may be dearer but it is employing Australians and has a much more stringent quality control
now you have a choice
in the future there will be no choice as one by one Australian producers throw in the towel or sell to foriegn companies

Corona beer which is meant to be Mexican comes from New Zealand in this country
So many "international" brands are brewed in Australia or NZ under licence. Becks, Stella, Corona, Guinness to name a few. It's getting so that you have to look closely to find a beer that's actually made overseas (if that's what you're after).

MacLeans used to be, but I haven't checked for a while.
