Why is Abbott so scared of Rudd?

His overall dimeaner this past week has been interesting. He certainly looks anxious.

So why not take Rudd on in a debate as Rudd suggests? It might be a good opportunity for Abbott to promote his policies.

The libs will not be goaded into releasing policies early just because labor are making it an issue.

it isn't early, and if hockey actually has his figures checked properly this time the 12 bil black hole needn't be there this time. ๐Ÿ™‚

After this post I will not be responding to your comments unless I think they are constructive and offer some positive non defamatory remarks, tired of you BPing my posts and tired of your incessant offensive comments about Tony Abbott and other members of the LNP.

Re: Why is Abbott so scared of Rudd?

They won't release policies because they know it'll reduce their vote. 12,000 public service jobs slashed, an immediate increase to our unemployment rate, hits to mortgages, flow ons to local economies, disastrous.

cuts to the bone is not what our country needs at this time. Of course he won't release policies, it'd scare off all but the die hard blind faithful.

Actually luvvies I have sent an email to Tony  telling him the last of the labor luvvies  on here are DEMANDING he debate the RECYCLED KDUDD

Mind you the RECYCLED KDUDD cant even announce an election date so why would Abbott want to debate him....

But carry as your collective joy and euphoria will be short lived and come election day it will be sadness for you all.

that's great. Some of us should perhaps write to him telling him how much you are contributing to the other side

Unnecessary jobs created by Labor must be cut, the money is simply not there to pay the wages and creating these "vote getting" jobs is not sustainable. you cannot just keep printing money and I think you may find Rudd will start cutting a lot of public service jobs within the near future.

Unemployment is getting worse in some areas for instance the Illawarra/Wollongong area has the highest unemployment rate ever suffered in that area taken in June 2013.

Car factories closing in Geelong will create massive unemployment which filters down to other factories which the car industry supports. Will labor create jobs for those who want and cannot find work elsewhere ?, if so where or do they just create jobs, print some more money and we sink further into this massive deficit.

It is a huge problem but at some stage someone has to "bite the bullet" and get us back on track.

Re: Why is Abbott so scared of Rudd?

So Abbott's calling for an election ASAP .... and he won't release his policies until "closer to the election" ... exactly how close does he hope to get ?

'Twas the night before election, when all through the House
Not a pollie was stirring, not even a louse;
The policies were hung for the public to see,
Except for the Libs; they were policy-free.

Re: Why is Abbott so scared of Rudd?

it must be difficult to sell policies you haven't the nerve to release.. how bad can they be ? bad enough to lose with by the look of it or they would respond to the criticism and release them. why vote for someone who knows nobody but a minority will like what they have planned ๐Ÿ™‚

So you think that by throwing thousands of people on dole will help our economy?  Yes, jobs are being lost, but also created, that is why our unemployment rate is now quite steady, despite some major factory closures.
