That's my understanding.     How can you be resurrected on the last

day if you're cremated?  

I'm going in an urn to haunt the young 'uns.......lol

I'd imagine you have the same chance at resurrection if you are ashes (cremated) or if you are dust (buried).

So, it's true then? Genuine question.

Mum was catholic, the service was in a catholic church and she was cremated.

You will find very few Catholics amongst the urns.

Yes, most - due to their religion are buried.

it's just that a friend of my sisters has died - she left instructions that she (Catholic) wanted to be cremated, but the children who are Catholic are trying to stop it.

Her Will - will stand - given she didn't.

Bit like being celibate - some were - some weren't.

These days it is a choice - in a lot of cases it may be less expensive to cremate than bury.

Probably depends on how Catholic you are.

the last time I was in a church, I got married ..... learned my lesson.... it was a Church of England.

I also went into a Catholic Church once ... a very good friend had died ... a funeral.

so you can see, my experiences in Churches have been ... shall we say ... not all that positive.

hang on, that's not true - when we went to UK we went into several churches, abbeys etc.
