is that not a most unstable top heavy ship?

an accident waiting to happen?

its bad people have lost their lives 

but they had a choice

not so all those animals drowned

its time live exports were banned

one of the engines lost power , so the ship would have tended to swing around unless caught quickly with opposite rudder - not sure whether live shipping should be allowed in typhoon season - this ship steamed straight into the path

Lessons ? transponders on life vests , in life rafts ? Alternate route option by law. ?

Very tragic. Even though I don't believe live exports should be banned for reasons such as this, I think there should be a hold-off until there's some kind of guarantee that the industry gets a complete overhaul.
