Being 'middle class' depends on where you live — find out where you stand
There you go, bringing class into it again....

I came out middle class on that survey but the definitions I prefer are in a book called Framework of poverty, by Ruby Payne.
By those definitions, you can't decide a person's class by where they live or even by income. It is more a matter of perceptions, attitude.
Although it is written by an American author, a lot of it resonated with me-light bulb moments.
It defines all 3 classes as almong a continuum rather than just distinct sets.
What i found interesting was the definition of mental attitudes towards things & the unspoken differences.
