It looks like the old bird's staying.
He's settled off to sleep and is steadfastly sleeping in spite of everything and anything.
It doesn't matter if it's the other birds shrieking or the wind blowing fit to make the house shift, he's sleeping through it and no one is going to stop him, ha ha.
He's worked out the bird perch to his satisfaction, and he looks comfortable.
He's as out of the wind as he can be, he's under the eaves so he should stay dry and he's got some food in the little tray down below him. He's pretty well set up.

Takeaway came out of the possum house and out of the corner of her eye noticed a large white shape.
Almost right on that moment Pyrex decided to jump on Mum's back.
Poor Takeaway, she had a definite "I don't know what's going on and I don't know what to do and I feel confused" moment.
It passed,and she had breakfast, which included throwing a glace cherry at me. Apparently she doesn't like them, anymore.
She's a good shot, too. It's a little strange having preserved fruit hurled, accurately, at you by a possum, ha ha.
I know it's her special way of telling me that she loves me, and that she appreciates the gesture of my putting the glace cherry out with her breakfast, but she doesn't want it, ha ha.
