This is a thread with no particular
Topic so no one can be off topic 🙂
So if anyone out there has something
To say about anything you like now
Is your chance
Keep it clean
And be nice
See how long that lasts
Can we keep politics and religion out
Of the conversation

I went to the hill from where you can see many things...
To the North, a little haze, but nothing worth commenting on.
To the South, a dull ochre blanket had descended on the land.
Dust, I am told.
Looked like smoke, to me.
Either way, this is what made the sky yellow and upset the sparrows.
If I had a dash cam I could have filmed, from the North, across the mountains at the edge of the world, and to the South.
Could have, but there's not much point...
The sparrows refuse, point blank, to recognise two dimensional images on screens.
Their reasoning being that if they start recognising two dimensional on screen images then I'll get them to play the Sims, the levels that I hate playing, and that doesn't seem fair as it's my my game, and I should play it...
Even if it does mean they give up a chance to come into the house, ha ha.
There was a committee of them, waiting, this morning...
How many sparrows would fit into that large cardboard box?
You're taking us with you, aren't you?
It's only when you're not so much in the teeth of a crisis, but sniffing it's somewhat pungent breath, that you realise how much you matter... ha ha.
My little friends who flee at the sight of me, every day...
It's not because they're afraid of me, or they don't like me, but because they're not here for me...
Not yet, anyway... ha ha.
The day I find they don't leave me is the day I shall find myself alone, riding in green fields with the sun on my face, and I will not be troubled, for I will be in Elysium, ha ha.
And what, you ask, lies beyond the mountains at the edge of the world?
Well, I imagine it would be the rest of the world.
It has to go somewhere, ha ha.
"Edge of the world" is, after all, just an imaginary, arbitrary boundary.
But it does sound pretty impressive, ha ha.

Ah, but Ecar, I've been to the actual 'Edge of the World'
And if you go in a straight line from here, then you won't hit any land until South America -

A straight line, all the way to South America...
(Conveniently ignoring that little island in the way... ha ha).
