time for another perfume thread?

I know there was a thread a while back but thought it would be nice to start another.

What perfume are you wearing and why?

What's your fave perfume or do you have several?

A friend has just given me a bottle of Hypnotic Poison which i love so much.  It's a real mood lifter

for me.

Men too -  do you wear perfumes/colognes?  If so ---   which ones?

Re: time for another perfume thread?

Gosh there's quite a few perfumes there I haven't heard of. I'm making a list.     I must get to David Jones and sample them, a new store has opened locally and they have all the sample perfumes on display so you can go mad.

I'm really into the oriental-vanilla ones lately  -   love Angel and Opium too.  Also Lolita Lempicka.

My main prob is that my skin eats perfumes and they don't last for long -  any ideas how to make them

last longer?   .

Icy -  i love long stories,  do tell.

freddie - must sample modern Muse.

some seem to linger and some disappear, I used to just buy perfumes on impulse, now if i feel like buying something different i will use the tester on my wrist and spray some on the little cards and wait a while (a couple of hours, at least). Some that smell delicious straight away, either don't smell at all later or just change and smell horrible. Woman Happy

"Paris" Yves St Laurent - love French perfumes

J'adore  (another French one) love the citrus

Anai Anai (French again)

Why? I've loved French perfumes ever since I visited a fabulous perfumery on the Champs Elysee many years ago., 1997... Wonder if its still there, does anyone know? It was very big and had every perfume arranged in alphabetical order from the front to the back, black marble pillars down the length of the store, and at each one, was stationed a very large handsome black man who blended in with the pillar!
