It says in the manual ......
Using this product on a broadband line without an ADSL filter
may cause prolems with this product and your Broadband service.
What's a filter?
What does this mean?
My present cordless Panasonic (now Kaput) worked perfectly with my
Broadband.

Hi Kopenhagen, Thanks for your reply, so would that be the little thingo that says Phone on one side
and ADSL on the other? That's what my old one went into .
I suppose there's no harm in trying ...... it's not going to blow up I don't think, but
I get nervous with manuals. 😮

Yes, that's a filter.. You usually get them when you sign up for an internet connection.
They just stop the internet connection dropping out when the phone rings and prevent the internet connection from causing bad reception on the phone
