well another week over .... plumber came on tuesday and changed washers & replaced shower head .... but told daughter that our pipes will need to be replaced in the near future ๐ฎ ...... what happened to pipes lasting 100 yrs or so ... ๐ ...... sheesh nothing is made to last anymore .... a throw away society we are today sadly .... so fingers crossed its a long time before that needs to be done ... cos its sure to be pricey .....
we had the monday off this week ... long weekend ... was lovely .... then I did an early shift on tuesday, a middle-late shift on wednesday and a late yesterday .... LOL .... nothing like having a bit of variety during the week ๐
went for mammogram today .... yearly occurence .... sheesh I hate being squished to pieces by those ruddy machines .... wish they would find a better way of doing it .... mind you Im not sure if having less would be any better as then you dont have enough to actually go onto the glassed area .... so not a good thing either way .... but its a necessary thing to keep an eye on our health .... but WOOHOO .... done for another year ๐ LOL
warmish today ... and for the weekend and next week ..... for which Im on lates again .... LOL ... back to the two rotation .... lates this week , earlies next week .... due to the changes in paperwork .... you need a special certificate to open or close ... and only 2 of us have it hence the two shift week on week off .....
hate the new photobucket .... grrrr ... they asked me if I wanted to change to the new one .... I said NO .... then they sent me an email ... asking me why I didnt want to change .. which I sent back with all the reasons .... and they still changed the bluddy thing .... grrrrr X-( why ask me if youre just going to go and do it anyway ....
well another weekend over and done with ๐ฎ
on lates all this week .... **sigh** .... so late home every nite .... only good thing is the following week Im on earlies LOL .... ๐

been having a pretty quiet weekend. Nice for a change. Shannon went back to her apartment yesterday. She's hoping to hear something about the job tomorrow. I hope she gets it and can start right away. She needs a good paying job.
Donna: I hope your back is feeling better. I have to lift heavy boxes at work and I try to be so careful because I don't want to hurt my back.
Peela: I have next to nothing in the boob department and I don't have any issues with mammograms. I have never found that they hurt at all. I am due for my annual one in May.

Well my back is feeling better but I'm going to my chiro tomorrow and see if that doesn't get it back to feeling 100%.
Peela, it is horribly sad we are such a throw away society. If something was made well, I'd rather pay to have it fixed. That is great your shower is fixed but not so great news about your pipes. Well PB is suppose to change over on March 18th. I've been cleaning mine up before they make us switch. Initially, the change was suppose to happen March 3rd but they've extended it due to many issues. Some folks I know went ahead and jumped into the new one and were complaining about it. I will be one of the last ones to switch over. From what others have said, there are no page numbers in your folders. I'm hoping that is one thing they will change. Hope you have a great week ahead.
Rosie, I hope you're doing well. We just had another storm front move through this weekend. It rained off and on all day Friday and then a little bit on Saturday. I don't know if this storm will be headed in your direction in the next couple of days. Hope you have a great week ahead.

Today is Shannon's Birthday. She's 23. My how time flies. She is still waiting to hear one way or the other about the job.
Donna: We are getting up into the 50's (10 C) the past week. It rained some today. The snow has melted off some. Hopefully it will go even more! I am ready for spring! From what they said on the new tonight, we may get a little snow coming up but nothing much. I am glad your back is feeling better.
Peela: Sorry you are having such issues with your pipes and stuff. What a hassle!
Our over the stove microwave and vent finally came in today. Chris is installing it. Now we can get rid of the microwave on our counter and get more counter space. The will be nice.

evening ... or maybe should say morning .... as its 1-30am here ... and I have a load of washing to hang out before heading to bed ๐

rosie ... I hope shannon had a lovely birthday and got the best news about the new job ...
rosie ... I have rather large breasts so when they get squished it hurts like crazy ... and the worst bit is when they do it sideways as mine dont stay up they tend to fall down the classed bit ... so they have to prop them up and slam the top bit shut quickly ๐ฎ I end up feeling bruised and battered after its done .... ๐
been to see mum and have dinner with her .... also to install a new towel rail for her in her en suite ... the old one (plastic) snapped off and was a bit sharp so I removed the top bits to make it safer the other week ... then got her a new rail ... and you guessed it ... when I took it out the packet to put it up ... the screw holes didnt match .... so I had to drill another 3 holes ...managed to use one of the old ones ... but I still dont get why everything has to be changed every time they bring out a new one .... anyway I managed to get it up for her .... and its a metal one ... so fingers crossed it lasts a bit longer .... she is happy with it ...but told her not to use it as a strong hold ... as I dont know how strong it is ... its screwed into the wall tightly and doesnt move ... but who knows and dont want her falling over because of it ....
a long week of lates over .... and this week on earlies .... we are alternating again .... one on ...one off .... and its been hot again ... or should I say still ๐ ...... although we did get some rain on thursday ... but by the late afternoon it was back to the heat again ... and its supposed to be autumn here ..... pfft no way !!
anyway off to hang that washing ... be back maybe tomorrow ...
ps ... ooh donna ... I didnt have a choice ... even though I said no to updating my PB ...they did it anyway ... I hate it .... its not clearer at all ....more confusing and ghastly to look at .... let me know if you need any help using tags or anything in here ... Im finding my way ....but grrrrr .....again with the changing things and not leaving things that aint broken alone .... bettya they are males B-)
