hi Deb,

Yeah they were really good, the lead singer's name was June and the bass guitarist was Ron Beaumont,... I think. Too many 'brain drains' ago so I don't remember too much else.

I do remember when a night club called Billboard opened in the City, they played there too. After the night club, everyone would go for morning coffee and munchies to Aphrodisiacs before heading home to get one hours sleep before having to be at work.:^O

hey dixo, Billboard? I know it well I worked there for a little while & APHRODISIACS? I have never come across anyone else who went there. Except for our crowd. lol

Had some great times there too, even took mum there once she was fascinated. Do you remember the possum in the glass case? "Hi my name is Arnold & I'm stuffed" :^O Coffee with hundreds & thousands floating on top, can't remember what they called that

:^O Deb, because you worked at Billboard, your recollection of Aphrodisiacs was probably a little less clouded than mine...;-) I remember really comfy club couches and coffee... lots and lots of coffee.B-)

I did just type Ron Beaumont into Youtube and got some info on Rocksteady. He was the guitarist, not the bass and yes June Martin was the lead vocalist. Pretty cool to find that after 30 years.♥
