Charged for order item not accepted by ebay nor received by me.

I placed an order which included 'qty 10 used stamps entitled 2008 Australia for every occasaion set of 2 FDC Merrylands NSW cancel' at a cost of $5.95 from seller <Removed> .    E-bay accepted the order EXCEPT for the above item when they advised 'order not successful - not included in total amount - payment not made to seller yet.'   I had not received a ETA from the seller but nevertheless I emailed to confirm but he has not replied.   According to my credit card statement Paypal has paid the seller for this item and has debited me the sum of $5.95.  The Paypal statement reads 'Feb28 ebay - <Removed> $5.95 payment.'   Please advise when the $5.95 will be refunded to me.   Regards, Sonja Sontag

You are not contacting Ebay here - this is a community board, we are just buyers & sellers like yourself.

If you can't get a reply from the seller, use Help & Contact to contact Ebay for support.

If you bought more items from the same seller and received those items then DO NOT do a dispute for item not received.  You will lose the dispute if the seller can prove you have received a parcel.

You need to open a dispute for item not as described in this case.

But it is far better if you can sort it out with the seller before opening a dispute.

Start an Item Not Received case - the seller will have to either respond, or eBay will refund you.

I am not sure I understand your post.

However, try to work it out with your seller and if they are not helpful you can open a case to get a refund.
