Question about cancellation of item for sale

I had a dining table for sale item number162659047221 I notified buyer perthtracy 2010 about accidentally damage to table which renders table not suitable for selling,not even give away.I was under the impression that I cancelled the sale with eBay.please notify buyer

You will need to cancel the sale yourself in order to get the fee credited back to you.

To the right of item in your sold list is a small drop down menu.

Select cancel and choose item is damaged in the cancellation.
