How can a seller advertise a product on ebay then after you commit to buy they contact you and say the stock isnt available for three weeks

The do not want to lose their place in the best match searches so continue to sell what they do not have.

That is exactly what they do 😞

If it isn't a genuine mistake, then I make a note to never ever not ever deal with that seller again.

The buyer has searched, found their item, bought it, and paid for it.

Then there isn't one, and may never be even if they are waiting on stock delivery.




Then...the best part...the buyer has to wait for the lovely seller to get off their royal purple cushion and issue the refund.
