best way to package car number plates

I am going to list several vintage car number plates  for saleand was wondering what is the best and cost effective way of packing and mailing to ensure safe delivery to the buyer

In a tin with plenty of padding......or you could cut a section out of a book and stick it in the middle?

Then put in a satchel
