Hi was just wondering if anyone has had dramas when dealing with their local post office? Today mine cracked it when I asked for a receipt of a click and send item as he didnt give me one at the end of the transaction,  then tried to tell me I didnt need a receipt as it wasnt insured, I then informed him It was (this idiot works in a post office and thinks only registered post items are insured) to which he had a tantrum threw a box 🙂 as he had to do the transaction again. I ended up getting a receipt/proof of lodgement as he went through the process again.  I am seriously thinking of using another post office as I know others here are doing the same due to his attitude so I am not the only one whos had enough but I think why should I?  This isnt the first time ive had dramas with this bloke he has made comments such as selling on ebay isnt much of a way to make a living etc and also laughed in my face when I have wanted to make a claim for lost postage (serious) and once even looked over my shoulder as if to say next customer when I mentioned a gripe about being sold a prepaid satchel with no tracking number and the fact i needed a tracking number. How do I offer buyers combined postage savings with FREE POST items? Each item purchased obviously includes postage costs. When combined and posted as one parcel there is usually a big postage saving. Do I post the items all separate (so there is no saving) or combine them and buy a pie and a coke with the savings on the way home from the post office? Hi , I am hoping someone can help clear up an issue I am having at the moment. I bought an item from a seller, in which the postage info states that you have several options, 1. free post,  2 Express Post- There is a $4.50 fee to post anywhere within Australia. With Express Post, delivery time can be between 1-2 business days if you are in a Next Business Day. 3.Registered post $4.50 OR  4. Express Post W/ Insurance- There is a fee of $9 to post anywhere within Australia. This Method of postage comes with Insurance in the case where the item is lost or damaged. The delivery time is 1-2 business days excluding weekends     Now the options that came up in check out were all of the above but with one difference the Express post with insurance was listed as express post platinum. I chose the platinum option as I wanted this item quickly and it had insurance , yet when my item arrived it has been put into a normal express post bag NO INSURANCE After emailing the seller and asking why did I pay for 1 thing but get another, I recieved this reply -   "On our game description in the Postage section we have advertised the $9 option as Express Post/With Insurance however under eBay section it comes under Express Post Platinum. What we advertised and hat we have posted is infact correct. If you check with your local Post office the price of the Express Post satchel that your item was posted in $9.70 so we did not over charge you." so my question is am I right in being upset as I feel like I could have saved myself $4.50 and just paid for express post? I have just received an item that was unfortunately damaged during transit. Registered post was paid for and entire payment processed through paypal. Hi hoping someone out there can give me some info....   I was contacted bu a buyer last Thursday (02nd Aug) saying she had not received her item and when was it posted.....It was posted on the 23rd July along with 6 other buyer's items (which have all been received as i have been sent FB) She needed for that Sunday   All post is sent via Aus Post and not tracked as postage is $1.20 i put the stamps on and take them to the post office counter.   I replied with the address i had sent it to and told her i pop on the envelople 'Please do not bend' and if she has a letter box that is small she might want to check with Aus post to see if they have taken it to the post office....she confirmed the address was the correct one,  i then gave her the option of me emailing something through that she could print off and use for her celebration....i did not hear back from her so emailed her once again on Sunday to ask if it had arrived.   Today she has emailed saying it still not there and she wants a refund? I recently bought an item from an International seller who posts 'Worldwide'. The price quoted for postage to Australia as per listing was EUR 15.00. Paid for the item immediately via Paypal. I have now received an email personally from the seller claiming that the shipping cost to my address is very high and it is going to cost EUR 100.   They claim they cannot send the item unless I pay this amount and have offered a refund back via Paypal. I have sent them a message via the message centre asking them to honour the said price of postage as there was no mention of postage being revised or different as per their listing. I have been waiting for a parcel from the US for 3 weeks now, seller is away so I am unable to contact in regard to this. What is a sufficient time frame for a parcel to arrive here? It was posted First Class Mail International LJ289866925US on the 6th of July, as an International letter, when I checked on the tracking number. I recently won an item on ebay, (paid for item on 9th), after a delay in seller posting the item of four days, (posted on the 13th) now i get a email saying the parcel was returned to the seller damaged?. I have been offered a refund, though nothing has been refunded yet. I feel maybe the seller was unhappy with the sold price, as i was the only bidder. Maybe they refunding so they can re-sell later? Obviously i have to accept refund/reason for not recieving my won items, just seems odd is all and i was hoping to get the items i won and paid for. I've posted similar sized packages with auspost, and they charge me $6.60. But I see some people selling similar items and they're charging less for postage. Buyer and I have been in constant contact over the last 2 weeks over a 500gr satchel that hasn't turned up at his end. What do I do? It doesn't have a tracking number on it as it was the old style satchel and not the new one with tracking number. Do I refund? That doesn't seem fair to me as the I am out of pocket. I Purchased an item from China. Paid on the 15th of last month. The shipping number will not show up on the China post web site. Seller said wait a few weeks. Is this reasonable or is this a way to send me past the 45 paypal days. I notice the sames items are now 3 times the price. So this is my first time using click and send and I have really been having some trouble! So after I create my item, fill in the form and click on Search available services, I get The system cannot find services for the transportation of content or options that you entered.   I have tried googling this problem and found one person asking the same thing but she was able to rectify the issue, however when I have tried doing the same thing it still does not work!   I have tried typing in the address myself etc etc, I really have no idea 😞   My only guess is that maybe there is a problem with the service and because it is a sunday, it hasn't been fixed?? Hey everyone   Should I be annoyed.....? I paid $7 for postage (Standard 3kg rate...blah, blah, as stated in postage details on item). I got home today and my item is in my letterbox, in a flimsy little plastic bag with my address on it and no postage paid. Obviously the seller has hand delivered the item, which creeps me out, as I just want things POSTED by Aust Post.   I have sent seller an email requesting postage fees refunded.
