Hi,
Thinking about opening a store but not keen on having to pay for any auction listings when I get 40 free now. I will be listing in the media category only.
Plan was to have the majority as buy it now but still have the option of putting up rarer stuff in auctions.
Am I correct in assuming that the 40 free disappear as soon as you sign up for a basic store?
Am I also correct in assuming that the media category doesn't count for the store free listings?
I tried contacting the ebay chat thing but that was a waste of time..
One "person" had no idea and cut the chat off... then the next one said no to everything.. Then the last one said that you can get free auction listings in the media category but I dont think they knew either.
So thought I would throw it out here...
Thanks
Once you are on Managed Payments, you will get 250k free listings per month -
All sellers with an Australian registration address are entitled to 250,000 free insertion fees per month for items listed in auction-style or fixed price format in most categories, including relisted items and listings that are ended early.

I don't do auctions, but that would tend to indicate that they are also free.
If you still want to pay for a store, you would probably (post-MP) want to check if there are any fees showing before you commit the listing.
You get 600 free fixed price listings and that includes media as far as I am aware.
(You don't get 640 freebies)
Auctions are only free in collectables category.
