I received my one negative feedback around 10 months ago and settled with the buyer by returning his payment and he kept the item. He offered to contact eBay however I didn't take up the offer. Could Ebay now remove this negative feedback?
Far to late, and in any event, the FB does not breach FB policy. If the buyer did intend for the FB to be removed or altered, and in fact contacted ebay in an attempt to do so, they would have been advised to have you request FB revision.
Highly unlikely ebay would have removed the FB, even if you contacted them at the time, and had not replied to the FB.
Very very much doubt it now you have allowed that much time to pass
Why didn’t you send the buyer a feedback revision request at the time?
Or report them for keeping the refund AND the item (they can’t do that)
As stated in the other thread, you should have sent the buyer a revision request.
But as kops said, in 2 months the negative feedback won't affect your overall score any more. It will still be visible if a buyer wants to look at old feedback though.
Like kops, I would think it is too late for eBay to remove it, but if you want to be sure, just contact them via live chat and tell them about what the buyer had said (that they would ask eBay to remove feedback). Ebay can see messages, so they might be able to help.
You only have 2 months left before this feedback will not affect your percentage.
Neg feedback doesn't count after 12 months.
I think it is too late for eBay to remove it.
