I listed an item (a rabbit hutch) which was sold to the highest bidder. They messaged me to arrange pickup that day and I messaged them straight back with my contact details - five days later despite messaging them again twice I have heard nothing. How long do I wait before I relist the item of offer it again to the person who bid next highest? (Note: no money has been paid for the item yet as it was cash on pickup). Any help would be very much appreciated>

I sold an item to a buyer who was disappointed with the colour of the garment (item#181124881789) despite the description and photo being accurate, and rather than contact me chose to leave 'Neutral' feedback (anything that isn't 'Positive' is 'Negative' in most peoples eyes I believe) This buyer has left only 8 feedbacks in 4 years, two of which have been 'Neutral'. (25%) Having traded since 2002 and accumulated an unblemished 100% 'positive' feedback I am keen to protect the goodwill of my online business and wish to know what options are available to me to have this feedback removed.

I have received payment for a item I sold and the buyer has asked for a receipt when the money is in my paypal account. Is there a way of sending a electronic receipt or should I just send a physical receipt with the item?.

Hi To All, I sold a second hand Handbag 5 months ago and the buyer has asked for a refund as the bag is coming apart. Should I offer the refund? I think 5 months is over the top to be asking for a refund. Any advise would be appreciated 🙂

My 1st time in selling on ebay. What happens if the bidding is lower then my asking price on BUY NOW. Do I sent the item to the highest bidder and lose out on what I want. or shall I cancel the item now before I run out of days which end in 1 day 23hrs and get charged fee. Please someone help me.

Hi There, Someone won an auction ($10 ish value) for an item that was marked pickup only. They have paid. They subsequently asked for postage. They nominated a sum they would pay for postage. I have (reluctantly) agreed to post on the basis they made payment for postage first. It's now several weeks since and they have not paid for postage. I have followed up with them several times by email and received no response. So they have paid for the item, it's available for them to pickup or for me to to post if they make the agreed payment for postage. What should I do? This has been a massive waste of my time but want to operate in good faith. Cheers

I wrote earlier in the week about the Enlarge feature similar to leatherland1's problem. This lasted all week. This morning I could not bring up some of my gallery photos and even went into ebay as a guest and still had the problem of not seeing the photos being enlarged and some photos were not even showing. This problem lasted until approximately 10.30am this morning and now everything has returned to normal. I have not done anything to help this along as I am quite computer illiterate. It just happened all of a sudden!.

Ok, I know buyers have the use of DSRs, which is supposed to be an "honest" reflection on how they view their transaction, BUT, How can someone mark you down on "postage time" and "communication" WHEN: a) item is posted the SAME day payment was received, evidence of this can be seen via tracking, and b) buyer automatically receives email i) an invoice after winning, ii) when item has been posted, and I set up notification emails to inform buyers during the delivery process via Aust Post so they are updated throughout the delivery Doesn't seem very fair and HONEST! OMG, I'd really like to know what buyers like this expect!! It would be good if there was some way that Ebay linked with Click and Send that shows posting took place the same day as payment and automatically award a 5 star rating, like with the automatic 5 stars for free post. It's just a thought! Buyer paid 27/3 Item posted 27/3 Vic to NSW Item delivered 2/4 Now also take into account that the item was going from Vic to country NSW and there were 2 public holidays (Easter) in between as well as Sat & Sunday. So in reality it only took 3 working days to arrive! It couldn't get there any quicker! That's my gripe for the day!

Since ebay offered the 100 free listings, I have lost so much time trying to list - cannot download photobucket photos, screen keeps going black and then I lose my listing. Instead of achieving more listings I am going backwards as I have to wait hours and keep trying over and over. Perhaps the extra "traffic" wasn't taken into account - everything is so slow and fraught with problems now.

I have just received my first negative feedback from a buyer who said I sent him the wrong size for a mobile phone screen protector. I have checked and I am 100% certain that what I sold was the genuine article and the correct size. I have not left feedback for the buyer yet but I have sent him a message with links to the dimensions of both phones in question (the dimensions of which vary immensely) and requesting him to contact eBay to retract his feedback, which is erroneous. Should I be worried? Should I leave him feedback or wait and see?

Has the "enlarge" feature, below the pictures on the listing page been removed, or is it a temporary thing? I was told by Ebay that the "enlarge" feature will not be "turned on" if pictures are smaller than the minimum of 1600 pixels that ebay recommends. All of my pictures ar well over this size, but I still don't see the "enlarge" feature. So far ebay has told me: 1. the pics are too small. (they are not) 2. click Supersize on all my listings. (this did nothing) Does anybody have an answer, or is it gone forever? Regards, John
