Hello everyone,   I have created listings on ebay and its been 3 months since I have been unable to promote my listings via ad rates. The ad rates option which is usually available on every listing is reflecting on my listings which is why I am unable to promote my listings any idea how I get that option or what to do to get that? Hey there, I’m based in Brisbane, Australia, and I’ve been receiving jobseeker payments from Centrelink on a fortnightly basis. Initially, I was actively looking for work, but I started selling used car parts as a side gig. It’s been great, and I’ve found it both profitable and enjoyable. So, I decided to invest in my eBay store, purchasing a membership and establishing a professional selling ‘name’. I take this seriously and want to be seen as a reliable seller. However, I’m a bit unsure about a few things: 1. Should I report my income from eBay to Centrelink? 2. Is it time to get an ABN and officially register this as a business, especially since I’ve already sold 90 items? 3. Do I need to be concerned about the ATO or Centrelink in this scenario? 4. If I do go ahead and get an ABN and register the business, what will Centrelink’s response be? 5. Sold some items one of which was paid for and picked up same day. This item sold for $29 minus about $4 in fees but my payout was $3 and change. Where's the other $22? Hello all, I have just received a second Vero notice on the same item in a different listing after I cancelled the first. I am allegedly lifting photos from Seiko Corporation and using them in my listing which I am not. they are all my photographs. Secondly, I'm not allowed to sell to the EU because of parallel import policy. I have revised my postage services and disallowed any postage to the EU but my listing still shows being available to the EU. I don't get it ? I purchased the watch here in Australia paid GST why can't I sell it to whomever wants it regardless of where they are. The item was a world wide release,  yes including the EU. it's now sold out. Ebay provided me with an email to respond to the VeRO policy violation so awaiting a response. Apparently if you receive a VeRO they remove your listing instantly. They didn't the first time and this second time ( today ) was a final warning and another VeRo violation will see my  account suspended for 3 days. The pics are mine and eBays listing page revise correctly when I exclude EU, now trying to reach a human to discuss, or email them is next to near impossible. Always being directed to policy pages. Click on contact us and it's more unhelpful policy page. The shipping cost with Australia Post has become too expensive for me. I am only on discount Band 1 and I'd would like to help one another change that.   Australia Post offers the option for Business accounts to invite team members (under the "Business Details" option. My understanding is that the discount band is determined by the number of parcels sent by the entire team. The process to add a new team member is very simple: add name, surname, email.   I'd like to partner with other sellers so we get a better discount on Australia Post. I listed an item for sale several months ago. It did not sell. Today I received an email from eBay advising item number 255460473966  has been sold. The inbound email is from eBay@eBay.com, not ebay@ebay.com.au.   I contacted the seller who confirmed that they had purchased the item, However when I click on "GET POSTAGE LABEL" the auto response is " Sorry, this item can't be found I plan to send the item, but how will eBAy know I have sent the item if I just use regular post office and consequently how will I be paid? ... Hi there   I have recently sold a jewellery lot on ebay (Australia).   The buyer messaged me to say he wanted Afterpay but it was not showing up as an option on the listing (after he pressed Buy it Now).   It looks like AfterPay is available as a payment method on my other listings but not on this one.    My questions are:   1.  Why would AfterPay not be an option on this item but not others? 2. I am really upset and ebay decision to refund money to one of  my customers.   Customer purchase expensive item and after some washing and cleaning this item (merino wool, washing in the washing machine) decided to return it.  Even after that I agreed that I will refund her as soon as I receive this item. She didn't want to return this item, she just wanted MONEY.  They wrote to me that they reviewed the case.  No one even looked in this case. Now ebay decided that they will deduct this money from me.  But I didn't receive this item back, didn't receive even tracking number I can check.  Ebay don't care about sellers, what is the point to make money for them? Please read entire post to the end as it is most likely going to benefit alot of eBay sellers out there!!!   I think most sellers feel that eBay needs to Stop charging Soooo Much For Fees and this newish feature about  Promoting The listing! It's Highway Robbery!   Especially When I Noticed if I Didn't Promote My listing I Couldnt Find my listing in the General Search For That Type of Item and Could Only Find It if I Spellt it Wrong!! Also Noticed my item was Put Into a Different Category By Ebay that it Shouldn't Be In and Wasn't Logical!! If a Blog/Online Chat Page happens to Get Created on Google by "someone" about eBay Doing This To All Sellers, There Will Be AAAHHlot of Angry eBay Sellers Out There!! I'm sooo angry about being charged so much in fees and more to the point,  about the fact that eBay is doing this sneaky stuff to sellers with basically forcing us to promote our listings or they simply don't sell or take weeks or months!!   I have one listing a Living Dead Doll that I refuse to promote as I'm losing enough money on the it as it is.. it's a brand new item and a very popular product and is priced very competitively (cheapest brand new one on eBay for that particular item)  I have had it listed for approximately the last 6 to 9 months with exactly the same views and watchers as it has had since approximately a month after I first listed it.. I bought it thinking it was a camera, but it is a camera lid. It's my fault for not reading it to the end, but look at the web page. Is this a camera lid advertisement? looks like a scammer   The return site does not work, so I searched for eBay contact information and could not find it.
