The US get 50 free listings per month with no charge for BIN option, yet we get only 30 plus 10c for BIN.
Free insertion fees Insertion fees are free for your first 50 auction-style listings per calendar month. Buy It Now is also free when added to these 50 free listings.
How annoying!

I listed one item on eBay.com last year and it sold but the payment went into my old PP account, which I don't have the password for as it's years old. So, to this day, I have never gotten the money. I haven't listed there since. I think they may use your registration email as the automatic PP email to send funds, instead of having a separate PP email that you can use. Not sure on that.
If you have access to the email address, it should be a simple matter of resetting the password so that you can access the account again, and either withdraw the funds (it could be in US $'s so you might need to convert to AU $'s first), or send the money to your current account.

I don't remember any of the secret answers to be able to recover the password. No big deal but I learnt my lesson there.

As long as your name, address and phone number haven't changed Paypal should be able to locate the account for you if you give them a call.

We had a .com store for over 18months and it was the best selling we have had. But then changes happen to all of our 500 plus listings and they could not be found anywhere and the listings no longer went automatically to .com.au front page.......
In one month our sales went from around 700 lots to 0 sales in a month........
We were forced to open a .com.au store and our listing cost went from 10c per listing to 50c per listing...........

Store listings are a max of 20c for BIN. If you are using auctions then a store is a waste of money.
I wish that foreign listings didn't flood the .au site, but my experience is that they do, so I find it difficult to comprehend your issue. Or feel sorry for your listings on a foreign site not showing up on the .au one.

I don't like foreign listings on the .au site either.
I almost always search within Australia, but I think we shouldn't have to actually CHOOSE that option. It should be automatic.

Every one is entitled to their opinion. But a bit of history. It is not that long ago .com.au did not have free image in the gallery which forced many of us OZ seller to USA or UK. It is only the UK that gets preference these days and that will not last long as .com.au is hungry for the OZ seller to come back. And yes the 20c BIN listing is our only option. If it costs 10c to auction list on .com why should we have to pay 50c for the same auction listing on .com.au. Is this not the real underlying issue? If you are a business you make business decisions. If you just like to look at your listings that is something else. We are a business! We need .com.au to meet our needs and in the long term they will.

I disagree with that, otherwise Australian listings wouldn't be flooded by US and UK listings on default searches. And that is a recent development.

Interesting! I do a lot of searchers in the areas that we sell in and I am happy with where our listings are position. Some at the front and some there is no competition. I see very little sellers from outside Australia. We sell Australia so maybe that is the difference?
It was my belief that if a UK seller payed? another 20c the listing would show up in Australia.
If the USA is back in my favor as a seller I am going back to the USA.
