Hello,
I recently sold an authentic designer bag on eBay for the first time.
I am confused, received an Authenticity Guarantee email, saying that I need to send the item for authentication before it’s sent to the buyer. What does this mean?
I also received a policy violation notification. I don't believe I've violated any policy. The bag is authentic and was advertised as such. I have original proof of purchase, etc. What does this mean?
I am unsure if I am posting the bag to eBay or the buyer?
Any help would be most appreciated, thank you.

Yep, I noticed that GP - maybe to do with the policy violation perhaps ?

Hi Padi, the item was listed as brand new, doubt the OP is an authorised LV seller, as such the verification should fail as the listing is not correct.
Don't know if that was the violation though.

That means what it means when you listed such an item and it told you it would be subject to such
As for the violated, I don't know, you are'nt an authorised seller of the brand so maybe the brand/company themselves reported it ????
Have you listed any other things and had them removed ?

No longer showing as a sold item.

OP has sold pre-owned underwear more than once, I notice -
***Excellent As New Condition, Worn Once for Photoshoot***
Health and hygiene is also one of our top priorities, so our policy outlines why certain items can't be sold on the site.

Oh how delightful

Yeah. Got past the bots by calling them 'Bra sets'
Bras are not considered underwear apparently.
Go figure.
