BLOCKING BUYERS

Hi, I would like to know from anyone at what point would you block certain buyers and what for? I have had a customer who thinks it's fine to bid on several of my items over a 3 week period without paying for any of them. I had contacted them to let them know that they need to pay for the items that had ended, they didn't seem fussed and said that they would pay for all of them when the last one had ended. This happened twice, so I blocked them.

Also had one customer who bid on an item and when it had ended I received a message asking if I could cancel it for them because she liked another one better. I explained that you need to be more careful in the future because you bid on something you buy it...I cancelled it for her. She bid on another item and she never paid for it...so I blocked her too.

Is this fair or too harsh?

BLOCKING BUYERS

No but if you're not opening non payer disputes against the serial pests then you're not being fair on yourself.

I am opening disputes against them, I just can't be bothered dealing with these sort of people who muck you around like that. It's painful because I had no idea how many of them are out there. And people ask me all the time where do I get my beads from? Or, a client of theirs want's to know if they can buy half a dozen of a certain bead off me? What the..

i block 6 buyers, because even i say 3 days payment must made, but i understand now its very hard time,i gave 2 weeks to pay,but i was wait for month, and always hear tomorrow i will pay 100% and same story for month, and after they even don't bother to answer on mail, some buyers think if you sell alot you make fortune, but also they don't get, when you give money for item owner, also pay 50$a month for shop, and selling feepay, also  pay pal fee its so much,i think if buyers will more care about time of seller, they will act different,i don't get also before you buy you will look on item and look around before you press buy,but because buyer know nothing will happen, and ebay don't charge fee so they can do whatever, you can block buyers with 0 feedback or new,i don't block because we all start from 0,Thanks from me and my girls to all my buyers who was helping all this time.)

BLOCKING BUYERS

Bob, Not harsh, sensible IMO.

It sounds like you know the difference between genuine probs that you may help out with and those that don't know how ebay works or those that don't care.

If you have your blocks set, those with strikes, those not verified, that should weed out most pests. And as soon as you get a non payer, opening a case either gets them to pay or they get a strike and disappear.

I keep it simple, professional with a no nonsense approach. It works well. ๐Ÿ˜‰
