Charging fee for editing listing

Hope someone can help, I know this has been mentioned before, but not sure if the situation was exactly the same.

I had the usual 40 free listings for the month, used all but a few which I used tonight for some new listings and some relists The listings started and I realised that I needed to go into one of my new listings to make an edit. Ebay is trying to charge me an additional fee for the listing when I try to edit it. Why is this? It's never happened to me before. I can edit the relists for free, however, if I try to edit any of the new listings, it wants to charge me $1.50. Can anyone explain what's going on or how I can fix this? I really don't want to pay $1.50 to edit a listing!

Did you check in case you have accidentally added any upgrades etc. that's all I can think of!

I had something similar happen a while back when using the bulk editor to change the postage policy on a number of listings at once. I had to cancel the update because it was going to apply a fee to every listing on the edit list. I cleared my browser cookies and cache and tried again then it worked OK. So Perhaps try doing that.
