Every time we list our product ebay tell us postage is free we have given up any one interested in becoming a drop sell 4 us.

Why not add the postage cost to the sale price of the item. That way you are covered nationally in Australia.

Have you perhaps got a postage policy which is free postage? If so and that is the only policy then that is what every listing will default to. If that is the case then you need to create other policies for each type of postage you wish to offer and then you will be able to select the correct one on a per listing basis.
