HELP PLEASE - How to List the same item as a Multiple listing?

I have previsouly listed items where I have more than one of the same item with no trouble.

On checking the Sell An Item Tab which did have this option available...it appears this option has gone,  or I just can't locate it!

Also as i could not locate the List multiple item tab.  i have therefore listed these items singly.  

Is there a way to change a single listing to a multiple same item listing????

I did copy an old multiple item listing and changed.. as the items are make up..it only gives em the option of Makeup, not specifically lip gloss, lip liner etc.

Has anyone else had the same problem?  And could someone let me know how list a new listing for mulitple same items?

For multiple same-item listings, you simply enter the quantity on your listing form (as indicated by the red arrow).

Is there an extra charge involved when setting up for multi listings?

I get the 40 free listings per month but have multiples of some items,(but don't want to pay extra to sell them).

At present I have been using the second chance offer to sell to the next highest bidder but I want to set up some BIN items that I

have more then one off.

Fortunately, you only lose one of your 40 free listings for multiples, regardless of how many items are listed in the same insertion.

They DO count individually if you have selling limits, though.

2 x qty 50 listings will wipe you out if you have a 100 item limit.

Are you sure about that Dave? Have I somehow misinterpreted the following?

No but multiple quantites count against your listing limits, if you have them. You don't get charged, but my extreme example would mean you could only list 2 items if you have a 100 listing limit.

Dave, I have absolutely no reason to doubt you, and in fact would sooner take your word over that of ebay's, but what you're saying completely contradicts the published information which I have posted above. You know me well enough to understand that I'm not trying to be obtuse here but I'm genuinely confused about this issue.

For example, on this account I have a monthly selling limit of 100 items, plus a promotional limit of 40 free listings, so from that I assume that if I wanted to list all 100 items allowed, the first 40 would be free then I'd have to pay for the next 60 listings, correct?

So assume now that I want to sell 50 widgets in a single BIN listing with a multiple amount of 50 items, does this mean that I would expend all 40 of my free listings, then have to pay insertion fees for the last 10 items @ $1.50 per item (total of $15) even though ebay state that "you only pay one insertion fee"?

The reason I'm so curious is that I have around 55 of the same item here which I wouldn't mind selling via a multiple listing, but I'm not going to do so if it's going to eat up all of my free listings and cost me extra to boot. If that's the case, I'll keep it to 40 items only so that they all remain free.

thanks so much for your help I thought the number of items box meant how many you were selling eg a s a bulk listing.  really appreciate everyone's help

No a BIN of 50 would count for one of your free listings. But your selling limit would be reduced by the quantity of 50. So you would have 39 freebies left, and the potential to list another 50 listings only.
