Honest Buyer

We sent out an item a weeke ago Sunday from bris to Newcastle.

It was a large letter item as most of ours are. I thought it should have arrived Tues/Wed.

Wed my buyer sent a message asking if we had sent it.

I replied with the details and asked her to check at her local PO. She did that but they did not have it.

So I asked her to give it until Friday and if it didn't arrive I would consider it lost and replace it for her.

On Sunday evening (1-week later) I mailed out the replacement item.

Today she messaged me to say that both of them had turned up today.

And she wanted to keep the 2nd one to give as a gift and so wanted to pay for it.

How about that? An honest buyer.

Def no scammer here.

Clarry - There are fantastic buyers out there .....STILL...and if you don't take notice of ebays auto DSR ticks and communicate with your buyer ( and reverse the buyer/seller roles by putting yourself in any buyers position) anything is possible. I'm sure there are heaps of NPB's and scammers out there - my ebay is a hobby rather than business ( for reasons that need not be explained in this forum ) and I'll bend over backwards to make anything right - maybe for my own entertainment...lol. You had an issue......you took the time to check out the issue.....you resolved the issue by way of your actions AND you probably now have a buyer with the utmost confidence in revisiting. Good for You
