During June I used my own packaging so I could take advantage of the 10% money back offer on eBay label postage. I sent 15 x 500g parcels and all are clearly listed on my Sellers Account printout. All I got back was a credit of 72 cents each for 3!!! So where's the other 12 rebates???
I have emailed eBay Customer Support and have listed all the dates that I have not received a rebate for. I have not received an answer as yet as I only sent the email this morning but I have been reading the forum and have noted that I am not the only seller this has happened to this month. I also read that eBay said to wait until next month to collect credits owed from June!!! Oh boy, I can imagine what they would say if a seller said they couldn't pay their account until next month.
How come eBay bill us for every cent we owe them- right up to the last minute of the last day each month - but we have to wait until they are good and ready to send us money they owe us??? 😞

The promo states that the rebate may take up to two months.
How does the rebate work?
We have received credits at the start of each month and on the 15th of the month which is our invoice date.

That's the terms and conditions underwhich they are prepared to trade.
My guess though is that the billing system is in place whereas this current rebate offer is not as streamlined, so it takes a whil;e to cross check and also allow time for the cancelled labels etc...?
The billing process is one that is automatic and established, the rebate, which does not affect as many members, has not had the same implementation and as I said above, there are probably other limitating factors as well.
Anything new has potential for problems that need streamlining

That's the terms and conditions underwhich a powerful large entity with little competion in Oz is prepared to trade with smaller traders.
My guess though is that the billing system is set up to advantage eBay every step of the way and this current rebate is not streamlined as there may be some financial benefit to eBay to drag out processing the credit.
The billing process is one that is automatic and established, and has been very recently and swiftly upgraded to ensure speedy billing of eBay post labels the rebate, has clearly not had the same implementation as the post labels have, so probably the other factor is that it favours eBay not to automate rebates.
