Have never used click and send before and have only just registered and linked my Ebay Account.
I have worked through everything including weight, size.
Customers details automatically put in on right hand side of form.
Even though its only 150g in weight and small in size have ticked the box for signature and tracking.
Entered the 500gm satchel code and thought I had done everything correctly. Item Reference already put in.
I press the process button.
A big red box comes up with "Enter a delivery address code"
3 Questions
What is it?
Where do I get one from?
Where abouts is it supposed to go?
OK, I put in my Postcode. It appeared to work and did the same on the other side for the receiver.
Clicked Process. This time when I try to get services this comes up.
"Your Postcode is not a valid value"
Well gee, its been the same postcode probably since AP was invented and its a Melbourne suburb.
How can it not possibly be a valid value?
Am I missing something here or is C&S having a spasm?
Would really like to know as filling out forms that go round and round in circles makes me dizzy.
Just one more question.
Can I just take my click and send satchel to the PO, Put my own printed label on it as I am not getting anywhere with this and pay for the postage?
Thankyou

For the "delivery address code" I have no idea... have you ticked one of the MANY boxes available on the bottom parts of the page?
The only box I tick is "email customer"....
The wrong postcode will come up if the customer has written a city as part of their address (e.g Greenacre Sydney) so make sure they haven't done that.
And no, you can't take them to the post office and pay- We get a cheaper rate because we do the work!

Phone them and they will walk you through it. They answer the phone very fast: the more so as they don't have to handhold me very much now!
Their number is on the back of the satchel.

It was my side of the form for the postcode that was the problem.
Not the customer.
Yes I do understand they are cheaper.
That was why I signed up in the first place.
Cheers.

sometimes the address has two towns because of the way we put in our addresses when we sign up with ebay and paypal
e.g. Hawthorne, Melbourne
but this confuses click and send
so can you just check only the suburb is showing at the bottom line of your address?
It's easy to let your eyes slip over the Melbourne part

check you have typed you address correctly
suburb state and pcode
sometimes typing in Burwood East, instead of East Burwood for example will give an error
there should be a ? or somethng next to the pcode to check the drop down menu

I forgot that bit putney!
Also, if it is Mount something, it won't accept Mt.
