The way Ebay have changed Help to clearly discourage people using it is really bad. You used to access either chat or phone help from the main page. Now, you have to go through the virtual chat assistance first. Then, if you want to speak to someone, that options is often 'currently unavailable'. I don't like using the chat options as the agents are far less interested in helping. It's clearly a cost saving change which makes getting help so much more difficult.

Is this about the seller you left a negative feedback? The seller is unable to do a runner with your money.
If so there is no need to contact eBay.
Use the Money back Guarantee on the listing to receive a refund.
If it is something else then post your issue here.
You will receive excellent help/advice from the members here.

As said, the seller cannot 'run with your money'
You do not need to contact eBay to open a dispute
eBay is all about the buyer
You are protected, if you choose to use the tools you are given
It says the item sold 17 June, so don't waste too much more time to take action
Plus is looks like a possible hijacked account, nothing sold in 4 years and then suddenly a thing worth a few $$$

I don't know, I'd give myjentek the benefit of the doubt on this one.
From what I can see, he/she is usually positive but has had legitimate reasons for the negatives.
In this current case, it looks like maybe a hijacked account or an all round terrible seller-one of the few I have ever seen whose feedback is actually a minus 1. I'm going for hijacked account and buyer out of pocket several hundred dollars.
Desperately needs to open an ebay claim for item not received.
The next neg along was a faulty item where the seller didn't respond. I am wondering if myjentek actually opened a proper ebay claim, which the seller did not respond to, and jen failed to escalate her claim.
Then next along, the seller cancelled the order after ringing to ask for a higher postage payment, outside of what ebay charged. The seller's reply confirms that the buyer's account of the transaction was correct and the seller blames the ebay system but a buyer has the right to know the accurate cost up front before agreeing to buy.
I don't blame the seller for cancelling, I don't expect sellers to wear a big loss, but they should hardly complain about the negative.

Or maybe OP is just a bit quick of the mark, and they havent given the seller a chance to get the item to them, no real evidence its a highjacked account.
But either way, if its past the EDD, and no tracking, than a Item Not received case would get them their money back.
Looking at their other Negs definitely a case of not knowing how the system works, I'm guessing they have already contacted Judge Judy.

Myjentek said in feedback that there had been no response to messages. It's a seller with no activity in 4 years. None whatsoever. Then suddenly a sale for hundreds of dollars.
I think myjentek has reason to be alarmed as it is either a highjacked account or a seller with absolutely no idea what they are doing.
I agree with you, my main worry too is myjentek doesn't know how the system works.
Jen, you don't need to contact ebay chat.
You need to open an ebay claim (go to your purchase list and in the drop down menu you should see a tab to report you did not receive the item). Open a claim and then follow it up.
If you don't follow it up, it will time out & you won't get your money back, which may be what happened to you in an earlier claim.
You only get 30 days from the expected delivery date so don't dilly dally, do it today.
