New Option- Multi Variation???

Morning all, what is the new Multi-Variation listing option down the LH side of my page? Did I miss an announcement? Does anyone know what it means or does? Thanks

It's a tool that merges listings into one multi-variation listing, and AFAIK can only be used on clothing listings (eg if you have 4 different listings for the same item in different sizes and/or colours, you can merge the listings without - I think - losing sales history).

It was one of the changes that was announced a few months ago - I hope that means the variant listing format has been rolled out to other categories.

Hi DG, thanks I did go back and try to find it to bone up ,but couldn't find the release about it. But I don't deal in clothing so perhaps some other categories have been included.

 I'd say the link for the tool is appearing on everyone's selling summary, but if you click the link it will probably tell you that you have no listings to merge. I sell clothes but all my multi-quantity variations are already using the format, so it's telling me I can't merge any. 

On a side note, it doesn't look like the variant format has been rolled out to any other categories, either. 😕

Does this also apply to the announcement they made saying you will be able to change single listings to multi variant listing?
