Opening Ebay Shop

HI,

Hoping somemone can help with a few quick questions on opening an ebay shop -

1. I beleive that all current listings are carried over to the shop- will I be charged listing fees again for the current listings ?

2. Is it better to open a shop at the beginning of the month or will the free fixed listings run for the month from the date I open the shop?

3. What are some of the best & cheapest options for a cover template for the shop? ( I am currently using SellerSourceBook for my listing template)

Answers to the above  and other tips to make the change over easier would be much appreciated. I have being reading up on ebay stores but find some of the information too straight forward and not really answering the questions I am after.

Re: Opening Ebay Shop

1. Any current listings will have to change the Buy Now listings to 30 days duration when you relist.

They will still show when you open the store and the time remaining will still be the same till you relist and change the duration.

2. It makes no difference when you open the store but depending on when you do will depend when you get the bill for the store and fees.

Some come at the start of the month and some come the middle of the month.

3. It makes very little difference to if you will sell things or not so why pay anything?

Re: Opening Ebay Shop

If you want to use a template there are plenty of free ones available if you google. I have used robshelp.com for many years, his customer service is excellent if you have any problems although you do have to remember the time difference between here and the US.
