Product variations not showing up

I want to list an item with product variation's (as have done before) YES im listing in a cat that supports it (sporting goods) but i am not getting the prompt to add variations.

Whats going on?

Ebay broken again or something i am doing wrong?

Sometimes it just shows as an option on the listing form (at the top of the page, underneath the selected category,  there should be a Create Variations button which will take you to the options for variations).  

If that doesn't work, the only other thing I can suggest is using Sell Similar on a current (or ended) variation listing, then changing the details, category etc.

I found that when I start the listing , fill in everything needed 

then save "for later"

wait a few minutes.

and then open the saved draft. The variation option shows up.

I suspect the OP and all the other posters on this TWO AND A HALF YEAR OLD thread, hae solved the issue to their satisfaction.

And your problem is unlikely to be the one being experienced back then.

You're more likely to get a response on a new thread, with your problem, rather than dragging up this one again after yet another 2 years.

Many many things change in eBay over 6 months let alone 4 years...........................

not to mention that if a buyer in Australia bought all 3 current Buy-Now listings the postage would be over A$75, even if they were sent in one envelope.
