yes, i have just relisted a few listings that contain multi variations.. and it looks like sold items from last time they were listed, are showing up as still available.?
Is this right,? Does someone know any thing about this I didn't know?
I would assume as the numbers or sizes available or whatever come off when sold, that when relisting it would not return to the original listing containing all the items, but the remainder?
does this make sense?
Could explain why people might be selling stock they do not have, not realising relisting reverts to original?

Duh, sorry. That was not on a Variation listing ! I take it all back. In my haste, I relisted just a standard listing, and it did carry over the remaining quantity. Have since re-listed a variation and it didn't. You are correct - reverted to original quantities. What a pain . . . .

Probably an intentional set up by ebay to catch us out, part of the culling process. Must be lots of us selling items we don't have.. and then having to cancel and get a defect..and that's why they are pushing us to use the function..

Just one thing to look out for, if you ever update the quantity on a listing, then it ends and you relist, it will relist with the accumulative quantity as default.
eg Start with 10, sell 5 then update with 10 so quantity is 15, sell all then relist, the default quantity available will be 20, the total amount that was ever made available.
