A buyer requested a combined invoice for a pickup only item after they won. I explained that I would have to visit the post office to get a price for the postage to do that. Shortly after, before i could get to the post office, that they paid (Paypal) for the item. Am I able to send a separate invoice for postage? How? Or is there some other process?
Thanks

No need to cancel and relist, just refund and send another invoice with postage. If the buyer doesn't want to agree to the cancellation you can do nothing about it and will lose a sale and get a defect.
It says in this book I am reading that by 2065 80% of women will be overweight.

The cancellation process has changed. When the seller chooses cancellation for ".......there is a problem with the buyer's address" the seller is then taken to a page to refund with a big Refund Now button -> press this and then the buyer is refunded without having to go into paypal, and the cancellation is complete. The buyer is not given an option to agree to anything.
Just for information, if the buyer hasn't paid, then the system asks the buyer to make the follwing selection
-if they have been refunded
-if they have not been refunded.
This is done in case the buyer has paid via bank deposit or cash and gives an opportunity to make sure the refund has occured. If the buyer selects that they have not been refunded I'm not sure what happens next as I haven't seen this bit (ie does it close the cancellation request or is there a further screen to work it out with the seller or something?).
So if the OP refunds, there is no waiting around for the buyer to confirm. Ebay knows the refund has occured.
