Which do you think would be better a basic or featured store. Not sure how many listings needed to upgrade from basic to featured. I only sell in new childrens clothing. I really like auctions but I never get the promos so maybe its time for a store. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

The insertion fee for a clothing auction will be $1.50 each if you open a store, so if you prefer auctions, you may be better off without one.
If you do decide to open a store, you would need to list your items primarily as BINs to make it cost effective, and you just need to do a few calculations to find out which level would be the best one to go for. (Insertion & FVF fees vary according to category, but the following is based on what you're currently selling).
Basic store = $19.95 per month subscription, 80 free BIN listings, then 50c insertion fee for BINs (up to 30 day duration) after the free ones are used, and 9.5% FVF.
Featured store = $49.95 per month, 200 free BIN listings, then 20c insertion fee for BINs after the free ones are used, and 8.5% FVF.

Thanks DG. Does a featured store get better exposure than a basic store.

eBay suggests so, but frankly I don't really believe it. (When I look at my store subscription - currently featured - it has a line there prompting me to upgrade to an anchored store for more exposure, but based on the anecdotal evidence of others who have at one stage subscribed to all levels and noticed no difference, I think the "more exposure" would be more likely due to sellers having more listings in featured / anchored stores).
