Not sure what to do
Auctioned 8 boxes of assorted tins at beginning of month
starting @ .99c. (free pickup only) one person put a bid on each and won all 8
Didn't hear anything from them until it went to unpaid dispute.
The person then contacted me and offered to pay now and collect the boxes 9 weeks later (mid Novembert) when they were back in sydney.
I informed them that I had very little spare space and asked if they knew someone in Sydney who could collect the 8 boxes on their behalf, no response.
This evening, noticed that I was eligable for listing credits on the items so clicked it thinking at least I will recover something.
Now I notice the person has left me negative feedback, any advice before I respond?

If you closed the dispute with out them paying then the option to leave feedback should have been removed.
Call ebay in the morning and it will be removed if they are non payers.

don't respond to the feedback. Don't leave them any feedback. Do as advised and request it be removed.

Thankyou both for your advice, I rang this morning and had it removed.
You would think a fellow ebayer with as many feeback responses as they have would behave far better than they did.
The comments left were childish, defamitory and false. No financial transaction ever took place between us.
Apparently one can leave feedback for "free pickup" items even when a dispute has been lodged
I have now banned them from bidding on any of my items
Cheers

FB cannot be left when you close the dispute after 4 days; have you done that? You need to close it to get your FVF refund anyway. Also, until the dispute is closed, the buyer can pay and then you will be in pickle.

Thanks for your input
I can only say
1) won items were "free pickup only" and "cash payment preferred"
2) buyer did not contact me until I opened a dispute 6 days later
3) email correspondence 1 from them (initiated after dispute lodgement), the 3 subsequent emails from me unanswered.
4) clicked an option to get credit back on listing fee on Saturday night
5) Negative feedback left Sunday morning
6) what I was told by ebay staff on Monday was disclosed in my last post
I have no idea how they gave neg feedback, no money changed hands, I figure the dispute closed when I accepted listing credits
I am pleased that the neg was removed end of story
Cheers
