paypay payment - wrong email address

I am waiting on 3 patment to clear, because ebay had my paypal email address as Optus.   I have not use that optus service for over 12 months.  I've been through ebay and paypal and can not find a link to optus.  What do I do now.

Do you still have access to the Optus email? If you do, you can add it as a secondary email address in PayPal and access the funds.

If you can't access it, the best thing to do is call PayPal, as sometimes they can credit the payments to your account. Failing that, the payments will have to be cancelled and paid for again, which can't be done via the eBay checkout so you would either have to generate invoices from PayPal, or instruct the buyers to use the send money tab using the correct email address,  and input the eBay item details in the purchase info.

I still have the optus.   it's just sitting there, it came with the optus internet.   so I might try that option.  I have contacted eBay,  all they would do is confirm the address on the 3 items was optus..    How come up til then all my sales were to yahoo and all my pending sales are to yahoo.

If you ever used the Optus address to accept payments, it would be saved in eBay in any listing data that used it. The most common reason is using 'sell similar' from an older listing and not changing the payment address, which is pre-filled with the last address used or the one used for that particular listing.

That being said, there have been instances where things like this occur randomly and old, often inactive for years, addresses are somehow filled in.
