Error msg "To apply this code, you need to be an eBay Plus member." when applying any ebay plus code

I have this system/site issue with my Ebay Plus membership when using discount codes. I was an Ebay Plus member from May 2023-May 2024. I then cancelled and decided to re-join on the 13th June.

 

Since re-joining, when ever I use any discount code exclusive to only Ebay Plus members, I get the "To apply this code, you need to be an eBay Plus member." Error appear as seen in screenshot.
This includes my $5 monthly voucher I got sent recently which you need to spend $35 or more. But No, it still fails to work even when meeting all criteria and get the same error as mentioned.
Any non-member codes appear to work. So i'm unsure what's going on. I can see from my ebay profile that I am an ebay plus member but the wierd thing is also that any ebay item listed as an Ebay Plus benfit eg: for express delivery - asks me to "Try eBay Plus for free". When clicking this link, it prompts via the Ebay App that this user is already an Ebay Plus member. When accessing the link via web browser on PC it just loads my Ebay Plus membership offers page.

I have reached out to Ebay support more than 5 times and everytime they tell me they are already working on it as high priority. It's been 2 weeks now.

 

I got 1 response after the first Ebay Support contact advising me that my issue will be fixed after 72 hours of first sign up and must log off and login again to your account. I've been doing this every 2nd day either on the ebay app or on web broswer and still not fixed. I have logged off every device known that i have used ebay on. Not sure what else to do.

 

I did find other users with the same issue via another forum (OzBargain) recently and some of them had reported same issues but some of these users appear to have had theirs fixed after 2-3 days of joining Ebay Plus. Some users are able to use the discount codes straight after they sign up. So there is a glitch somewhere. Help Please!

Just an update to this. Appears to be working fine now. No issues with using Ebay Plus exclusive codes, monthly voucher codes etc. 

 

Also any orders added to cart and check out, acknowledges the fact that I am an Ebay Plus member and shows that I get Free Express Metro Delivery on Plus items. Where before it was showing Ebay Plus member can get Free Express Delivery but always ask me to join for a free 30 day trial - even though I already was an Ebay Plus member.

Co-incidentally, this all appears to be working now since new Ebay Plus sale codes for July are now active. Possibly a glitch from joining during the last Ebay Plus sale voucher codes in June.

 

Also just FYI, 

I never got a response from Ebay technical support, over a month period, if they had fixed my issue....Even though I would contact them every 2-4 days to ask for an update...it was always the same response, they have escalated the issue and have technical team prioritising to fix it blah blah blah...same generic response every single time.

 I'm guessing there was not long enough between cancelling & re-joining....time lag??
