I am miffed as to why it takes certain sellers almost a week to actually post a won item after receiving a msg from eBay to say it has been 'SENT'. Sent does not mean posted and it is very misleading to a buyer. I experienced this very problem most recently and as a result, the item I won arrived a number of days beyond eBay's predicted delivery dates. Can anything be done to alleviate this situation? We are not eBay staff here, only buyers and sellers like yourself, so there is nothing we can do to change the system.
Have you looked at the seller's handling time? Does it say "the seller USUALLY posts within "X" number of days after receiving cleared payment? Are you taking weekends and public holidays into acount? Once a label is printed it is marked as "posted", and as a seller myself this annoys me too, but there is nothing I can do to change it. I wish it said "label created" instead.
