Sort and View drop-downs are intermittently working on Firefox, but OK on Chrome.Any Ideas?

I think there may be a subtle bug in the Ebay Search code:

 Some searches will be OK, but others show the Sort and View boxes OK, but will not react to a mouse-over or click. The same search work fine with Chrome. Steps to reproduce:

Go to https://www.ebay.com.au

Search for item in specific department (Phones & Accessories) with this:
Tempered Glass Screen Protector XIAOMI REDMI NOTE 4
Then try to use the SORT or VIEW drop-downs in list.


Actual results:

Both the Sort and View drop-downs fail to react or drop to select an item.

If you wrote "may be many bugs", you'd be correct (in my view). Unfortunately, there's no way to contact eBay's IT to tell them, "This bit of code is wrong" or "This is deprecated" or "This won't render in [insert web browser]" or "This is glitch-ridden".

Contacting CS will result in the usual placebo remarks designed to get you off the phone as quickly as possible while uttering soothing phrases from scripts.

It is a shame that technical stuff cannot be passed directly to EBAY, as you say. It must lengthen the feedback & fix times for subtle bugs.

Anyway, it seems to have cleared, so perhaps they have changed the code, as I cannot reproduce this anymore. Until the next time then. Thanks for looking and commenting.
