constantly signed out grrr

am i the only one being constantly signed out of the boards and find it darn hard to sign back in?

i have ticked the boxes in my account

didnt make any difference

i unticked the boxes, closed all windows, turned off the computer, restarted the computer, re ticked the boxes, closed the window, restarted the computer...

and i still get signed out!

Shocking today could not get in at all till now, what an earth is going on with Ebay, are we grounded LOL

This brought it all back. I got on easily this morning, no problems at all.

But the last week I have had a lot of trouble. I could click refresh or log in all I liked and get nowhere, just back to the starting point again.

The only thing that sometimes worked for me was pushing the register or join button or whatever it is.

Fingers crossed it stays fixed now as I was convinced my days were numbered.

In addition to the sign in/out problem, I've posted 4 times to the "caption this" thread... I write my reply, hit the "post" button, get the "success" messsage, everything looks normal, but when I leave the thread, my post is no longer there...

I got in ok just now but   yesterday   it took forever.   Wonder if it' s just  Aus.

i'm still getting signed out randomly but getting back in hasnt been too hard

but the 'sign in' button is useless

Yesterday morning I had no issues. When I got home from work at 12.30am this morning, it wouldn't let me sign in. Just took me to the forum home page (can I just say, I hate that page!). I tried a few refreshes and hit sign in several times, but all ended up back on that home page. In the end I clicked on a message, hit reply, then submitted the message. That logged me in.

No issues so far this morning. That could change when I get home from work tonight though!

I use Opera for the forums and have rarely had issues. I don't have Win 10, so no Edge. I use Chrome for my other accounts (although it's causing me issues too at the moment, with constantly being logged out of my accounts, and having to log in every time I do something, even after clearing out cookies and cache multiple times). Firefox is a massive memory hog on my ancient computer, so I rarely use it these days.

Still having the same problems here Tippy, and it's driving me nuts. 3 different browsers all doing it (Firefox, Chrome and Edge), eventually I can get in but there seems to be no real reason why one way works and another doesn't. One way in will work then later it darned well won't.

Still happening to me too. Had hell's own time trying to get in yesterday morning. In the end, I just replied to a message again, which worked. No problems this morning.

Another petty thing that is driving me nuts is, when I hit reply, the page scrolls down and highlights the Attachments box, so it's ready to have something pasted in it. I NEVER use the attachment box.

Another petty thing is that when I refresh the main forum pages, when the page loads, it flies down to half way down the page. As I said, very petty, but very annoying at the same time.

I reckon some gormless tech has been fiddling and they can't be bothered finding a real tech to fix the darned problem.    

No wonder the boards have been quiet recently - the eBay "chat with us" must be going gangbusters now...............
