As announced in the Winter 2018 Seller Update, eBay is transitioning to a product-based shopping experience that makes it easy for buyers to find sellers’ products. Listing with the eBay catalogue reduces sellers’ listing time, and improves the accuracy and value of the competitive pricing guidance we provide, so they can manage their business better.
We are looking for sellers that would like to participate in the upcoming product-based shopping experience beta program. As a beta program participant, sellers will get early access to create and edit product functionality within the Australian eBay catalogue before this is open to all eBay users. Sellers will also work closely with members of eBay to work through the flow and to provide their feedback, and make suggestions or resolve any issues that they might discover.
In order to be selected for the beta program, sellers must meet the following selection criteria:
- Be a registered eBay seller for at least one year and in good standing ;
- Sell on one of the following eBay sites: ebay.com, ebay.ca, ebay.co.uk, ebay.com.au;
- Sell in at least one of the following categories with annual GMV exceeding $5,000 in those categories:
- Cardio Equipment
- Cell Phones & Smartphones
- Computers/Tablets, Networking Tablets & eBook Readers
- Humidifiers
- Internet & Media Streamers
- Major Appliances
- Portable Fans
- Programmable Thermostats
- Small Kitchen Appliances
- Space Heaters
- TV, Video & Home Audio: Internet & Media Streamers
- TVs
- Voice-Enabled Smart Assistants;
- Use Seller Hub as the primary listing tool to list and manage listings on eBay;
- Planning inventory on-boarding/listing activities on eBay within next 30 days in the above categories; and
- Willing to provide constructive feedback by email, phone or video to help identify and resolve any discovered issues.
