In advance of ANZAC Day, we’re reminding sellers of recent updates to our military items policy that clarify rules for listings that contain the word Anzac.
Items containing the word Anzac that are regulated under the Protection of Word "Anzac" Act 1920 (Cth) and Protection of Word "Anzac" Regulations 1921 (Cth) can only be sold on eBay with the written authority of the Minister for Veterans Affairs or a person authorised in writing by the Minister.
Upon request, eBay may require any seller of items containing the word Anzac to provide this written authority. If no authority is provided, affected listings will be removed.
