We wanted to let you know about some important updates to the Refurbished Program and its expansion into additional categories.

The Seller Refurbished item condition is being removed in some categories. After 6 March 2023, any listings using the Seller Refurbished item condition in the specified categories will be moved to the "Used" item condition.

What's changing?
From 6 March 2023, the Seller Refurbished item condition will be removed in the categories listed here. So you'll need to move your listings with Seller Refurbished condition over to the Used condition before this date. View Impacted Categories here.

Here’s what you need to do

  • Move current Seller Refurbished condition listings to the "Used" condition before 6 March 2023.
  • Update your item descriptions and titles with the item condition. For example: NewComm 1520 Colour Inkjet Printer - Grey/Blue - Excellent.
  • For Multi-SKU listings with condition or grade related varients within these categories, you will need to create new listings for each variation. After 6 March 2023 any listings still containing condition or grade related Multi-SKU variants will be ended.
  • Going forward, create any new listings for Seller Refurbished items in the "Used" item condition listing process.

How to update your listings

  • If you use eBay listing tools, you can create a new listing for each condition variation (e.g. Grade A, Grade B, etc.) in the "Used" item condition.
  • If you manage your listings using a third-party tool, you can work with your third-party partner to update your existing listings or create new ones.

After 6 March 2023, any listings still using the Seller Refurbished item condition will be moved to the "Used" item condition, and any listings with errors will be ended.
