Seasol is a liquid fertilizer (just mix it with water in a watering can and sprinkle it over the entire plant) Icy. I suspect the take up rate using it would be quicker than the slow release osmocote.  

The smell is not great but it soon dissipates and the benefits to the plant are very soon witnessed.

I would divide it after the flowers have faded but in the meantime a dose of Seasol would re-invigorate it a bit.

Prim is correct - it certainly will not burn the leaves Icy.

...and that is not the only thing she is correct about 😉

I was thinking how healthy it looked Icy but I'm in Perth where everything looks a bit dry and crinkly including myself sometimes.

I've been giving the pot plants a dose of Seasol now and then.  It does seem to help.

Our are both indoors j*oono otherwise they would not survive this heat 🙂

They like the airconditioning too - as long as we keep the water up to them :^O

oh and by the way my cast iron plant that I rescued from reception has put out 3 (3!) new leaves since I savagely pulled it apart and repotted it.  It seems to be thriving in sunlight and fresh air!

I have 3 different tomato plants. My favourite, the black tomato, had flowers which looked like they were turning to fruit but they didn't X-( I put a so called "pot" tomato in my concrete herb planter (old washing tub) - it's doing nothing X-( and the Don Burke tomato, which I think is a Roma, has two weeny fruits on it X-(

Sorry Buzz,  I can't help.  I just planted them and hoped for the best.  I'm surprised at how long it was between getting the flowers and then having them fruit.  It seemed to take forever.
